Request account deletion
The fastest way: in the app
Open CozBio and go to Profile → Delete account. You will be shown what is deleted and what we have to keep, then asked for your password to confirm. The deletion happens immediately.
If you cannot open the app
Email [email protected] from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner. We will confirm by email when it is done.
If you write from a different address we may ask you for something that proves the account is yours. We would rather be slow than delete the wrong person's account.
What is deleted
- Your email address — replaced with an unusable placeholder, which also releases the real address for use again;
- your password;
- your display name, biography and profile photo;
- your bank account, IBAN and tax details, including the encrypted copies;
- the text of your chat messages and gift messages;
- any outstanding password reset link.
Your videos and live streams stop being available to anyone, immediately.
What is kept, and why
These records no longer carry your name. They refer to an internal identifier that is not linked to you once everything above is erased.
- Payments, coin purchases and payouts. We are required to keep financial records for accounting and tax, typically for [RETENTION PERIOD].
- Moderation records, where there are any — so decisions about safety remain reviewable.
- Reports you filed about other people, so a decision made on them remains reviewable.
Your coins
Any coins in your balance are lost. Coins are not money, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred to another account. Spend them before you delete your account if you want to use them.
